Bitters

Originally created as medicinal remedies, bitters eventually made their way into the early cocktail movement. Now known as the “Bartender’s spice cabinet,” a few dashes of bitters can brighten up a cocktail, add complexity, and tie all the ingredients together. Indiana’s own Wilks & Wilson, purveyors of fine elixirs and mixes that allow absolutely anyone to produce a superior craft-cocktail with the spirit of their choice, have now taken their skill to the world of bitters. Like their other products, only the finest natural ingredients have been skillfully combined to produce a high quality flavor profile. We can’t say that a few dashes will cure what ails you, but they will certainly make your cocktail well.

Tony Abou-Ganim’s Double Barrel Bitters

Tony Abou-Ganim’s Double Barrel Bitters are a limited craft run bitters based on our Storyville Coffee Chicory Pecan recipe. Developed under the guidance of renowned mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim, these bitters are made with a whiskey barrel aged coffee beans from Bee Coffee Roasters. After extracting and blending, the bitters were placed back into the Dad’s Hat Rye Whiskey barrel for 2.5 months. When brought out of the barrel, they were blended with water and a caramelized sugar syrup for finishing. The flavor has a rich mellow taste of coffee and chicory, highlighted with some rye whiskey spice notes from the barrel. A must have have for whiskey and bitters lovers!
